Our Story

The Highland Hamper Company began in 2005 from a passionate appreciation of the wonderful locally grown and produced food and wine from the Southern Highlands in NSW.

“Paddock to Plate” wasn’t a phrase we really heard back then but it was developing naturally in the Highlands.

Award winning chefs, food and nature lovers were relocating to the area and trying to source seasonal local produce. When we couldn’t source enough we started growing it ourselves. Many Highland cafes and restaurants had herb and veggie gardens out the back. Knowing where our food was coming from and eating it freshly picked became important. Since then the Highlands has really become the ultimate destination for fine food, award-winning wine and fantastic scenery. We are now spoilt for choice!

The Highland Hamper Company aims to source these products and present them beautifully in our gift hampers as they deserve to be presented.
